Ok, maybe 10. or 15. Depending on how quickly you read. Anyway, we believe this post will serve as a good base for those doing research on Seoul.
My second trip to Seoul in 2 years; I don’t normally visit a holiday destination twice within such a short span. The good news is, having these 2 trips so close apart gives me an excellent chance to revisit what I did in the previous – and here’s what I have to say.

Originally called Heunginjimun, Dongdaemun Gate (East Main Gate) is Treasure No.1. Dongdaemun Gate was built by King Taejo in 1396, renovated by King Danjong in 1453, and its present structure was built by King Gojong in 1869. The most interesting characteristic of Dongdaemun Gate is that it has a specially built outer wall, usually a half-moon shape, that surrounds a city wall. The area where Seoul Palace was built was a low region, and difficult to defend from invaders, so they built this wall to counter such disadvantages. – Visitkorea

It started in Grampians. On our bouldering trip in September 2015 (read the excellent trip summary at Still Sauce. He has an awesome gallery, too!), we stayed at a very uniquely themed place called “Old Dadswell Town”. Mad Max, as he would like to call himself, runs the place with his wife Jenny. I didn’t get to meet both my grand fathers, but the ever friendly and welcoming Max comes pretty close to me having one. “Don’t follow the path. Think out of the box.” We sure did!
